Seit 1916 - Musik aus der Gründungszeit

With the concerts on 31 October 2026 in Lyss and on 7 November 2026 in Nidau, the association aims to mark the 110th anniversary of the Lyss Orchestra with a musical journey back to the year of its foundation.

The programme will feature works by composers who lived and worked around 1916. This will result in a colourful bouquet of melodies featuring works by: Alexander Glazunov – Reinhold Glière – Igor Stravinsky – Sergei Sergeyevich Prokofiev – Franz Lehár – Georges Bizet – Paul Dukas – Ottorino Respighi – Peter Warlock – Béla Bartók
