Where Photography Meets Art & Science marks the launch of Glow Talk, a new format blending image-led presentations with open discussion and exchange. It reflects on how photography shape perception, evidence, and responsibility.

For this first edition, artist, photographer, and filmmaker Patricia von Ah, founder of SEETHINK Lab, and Gonzague Rebetez, physicist and cultural mediator at Photoforum, come together for a conversation grounded in the Zero Baseline of Photography — a research initiative that explores first photographs. From the pioneer heliograph by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce to the groundbreaking image of a black hole, they will discuss how these milestones have redefined our relationship between observer and observed. A journey to the very core of photography, where art and science merge and new ways of seeing emerge.

The presentation will be primarily in English, but contributions in French and German are warmly welcome. The event ends with a friendly apéro.

Registration by emailing bonjour@photoforumpasquart.chis optional but appreciated.
