The starting point for Anita Muçolli’s (*1993) solo exhibition is a feeling of alienation from a world that is perceived as intact. The increase in conflicts and growing mistrust of political systems and technological developments are increasingly shaping our everyday lives and leading to a rise in anxiety and isolation. Muçolli does not see these as private problems, but as collective challenges. In the context of the Manor Art Prize, the artist is presenting a large-scale installation and new sculptures in the Salle Poma that address the social invisibility of negatively connoted emotions.
