Matteo Paolantonio is a painter and teacher who combines a solid academic background with a deep sensitivity towards landscape, explored through classical and experimental techniques. His work includes numerous solo and group exhibitions, with visibility at fairs, galleries, and international events. His work conjugates form, emotion and material, and signs in a coherent and recognizable poetics.

His poetics evolve from youthful figurativism to a mature synthesis of landscape, with emotional expressiveness drawn to form and color.

Usually working in oil, this is his first exhibition of watercolors.
