E(A)nt(h)ropical Snow
E(A)nt(h)ropical Snow is a moving sculpture that uses artificial snow to question the entropy of the Anthropocene. Between absurdity and fascination, the work shows both the disorganisation of life and the hypnotic beauty of snowflakes carried away by the wind. Inspired by the thinking of Bernard Stiegler, it evokes a humanity that has lost its bearings in the face of proletarianisation (loss of know-how and dependence on machines) and algorithmisation (increasing submission to calculations and data), while opening up an experience that reactivates the imagination, sketches the forces of change and resonates with the complexity of life.
