How to get certified by Swisstainable, what are the steps? What measures can be implemented to have a concrete and effective impact on sustainability? Which certifications allow access to level 2 or 3 of Swisstainable?
Together, come and find answers to all these questions – and many more!
The Swisstainable workshop by Tourisme Bienne Seeland aims to inform tourism providers from the Bienne Seeland destination about the Swisstainable certification – the main sustainable tourism certification in Switzerland – regardless of their current level. You will receive general information about the process and its benefits, time to ask your questions, as well as specific advice from our experts.
We will have the pleasure of welcoming five external speakers, who will present measures and certifications to implement in relation to the various Swisstainable levels, in the following fields:
- Accessibility, by the Claire & George Foundation (Susanne Gäumann)
- Sustainable food, by Gastro Futura (Kathrin Schlup)
- Biodiversity and environmental protection, by Parc Chasseral (Saralina Thiévent)
- Energy efficiency, by Solar PlattformSeeland (Christoph Giger)
- And of course, the Swisstainable programme, represented by Ana Lena Kronig
The Swisstainable workshop by Tourisme Bienne Seeland is entirely free of charge and will take place on 28 October, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (doors open at 1:30 p.m. with welcome coffee) at P15 By Werkstadt in Biel.
