“The mysterious gift of beauty” - Dance performance

Ad Deum Dance Company, a professional contemporary/modern dance company from Houston, Texas, returns to Biel, Switzerland, after a two-year hiatus from its annual European tour.
Artistic Director, Randall Flinn, has been traveling to Switzerland for over 35 years to share his talents as a dance teacher, choreographer and performer. Flinn calls Switzerland his second home and his favorite country in the world.
Ad Deum will present a dance performance entitled
“THE MYSTERIOUS GIFT OF BEAUTY”, an evening of encountering the wonder and joy of deep beauty through the art of dance.
The dance works presented were intentionally choreographed to be embodied expressions of beauty and to inspire the heart with hope, peace, and joy.
The evening's works include The Gift by Handel, with music from Handel’s Messiah, choreographed by internationally renowned dance artist Durell Comedy who was a member of Jose Limon Dance Company and Mark Morris Dance Group.

The artists of Ad Deum Dance Company have a very impressive background in professional dance, having received their earlier dance training at places such as the Alvin Ailey School in New York.
They are looking forward to bringing their artistic talents to Switzerland and inspiring the hearts of Swiss audiences.

Ad Deum's - THE MYSTERIOUS GIFT OF BEAUTY,
will be presented on Monday evening, August 4, at 8 pm in the Christuskirche, Portstrasse 28, 2503 Biel. Admission is free, a donation will be taken during the evening.
