Kizomba originated in the 1980s in Angola. The dance style evolved from the traditional Semba, incorporating influences from Caribbean Zouk to create its unique form. Kizomba is a beautiful, relaxed, and sensual partner dance. It has now established itself as a trendy partner dance worldwide. Especially in the salsa scene, Kizomba has become one of the most popular additions to events and festivals, alongside Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and more.
